We want you to be genuinely happy with what arrives at your door. If something is not right, this page tells you what can be returned, how long you have, and exactly what to do.
This page covers how to send an item back. For how your money comes back to you, see the Refund Policy.
The Return Window
You may raise a return request within 3 days of receiving your parcel. Requests made after that window cannot be accepted, because we cannot verify the condition of a food product once it has been in someone else’s storage for longer than that.
What Can Be Returned
- The wrong product was delivered
- The quantity or weight does not match your order
- The product arrived damaged, leaking, or with a broken seal
- The product is past its best-before date on arrival
- A sealed, unopened item still in its original packaging and original condition
What Cannot Be Returned
These are food products, so some limits are unavoidable:
- Any item that has been opened, tasted, or partly used
- Any item whose seal has been broken by the customer
- Items returned without their original packaging or labels
- Items damaged after delivery through storage or handling at your end
- Requests raised after the return window has closed
- Items bought under a clearance or final-sale label, where this is stated on the product page
How to Raise a Return
- Contact us within the return window. Call +880 1822 448838, message us on WhatsApp, or write to support@mikatfreshfood.com.
- Give us your order number and the mobile number you used at checkout.
- Send photographs. A photo of the product, the label, and the outer packaging. This single step resolves most cases the same day.
- Wait for confirmation. We will review and tell you whether the return is approved, usually within [[RETURN REVIEW TIME – e.g. 24 hours]].
- Pack the item as it came. Original packaging, labels intact, nothing missing.
- Hand it over. We will arrange courier pickup or give you the return address, depending on where you are.
Please do not send anything back before we approve it. Unapproved parcels cannot be traced to an order and we may not be able to process them.
Who Pays the Return Courier
- Our mistake – wrong item, wrong quantity, damaged on arrival, or expired: we pay the return courier in full.
- Your change of mind – a sealed item you no longer want: you pay the return courier, and the original delivery charge is not refunded.
After We Receive the Item
We inspect the returned item on arrival. Once it passes inspection, you can choose:
- A replacement of the same product, sent at no extra delivery cost when the fault was ours
- An exchange for a different product – see Exchange
- A refund – see Refund Policy
If You Spot the Problem at the Door
This is the easiest case of all. If the parcel is visibly damaged or the seal is broken, simply refuse it and call us straight away. Nothing has been paid, nothing has to be sent back, and we will resend or cancel as you prefer.
